Nick Richards will be “perfect fit” at Kentucky

With Bam staying in the draft, 7-foot basketball signee Nick Richards is more valuable now than ever. To figure out just how good he is and what he is going to bring to the newest edition of the Kentucky Wildcats,  Kyle Tucker sat down with Richards high school coach and former Rutger’s coach, Mike Rice.

“Rice said he watches a lot of Kentucky basketball and thinks Richards, a consensus top-20 recruit in the Class of 2017, will be a perfect fit for John Calipari’s style of play.

He can guard one through five about as well as any 7-footer has in a long time,” Rice said. “So I think he has such a big upside and Kentucky is getting a special person.”

I don’t know about you all, but Mr. Rice has me lit for next season.

The trio of Richards, Washington, & SKJ really impresses me. Of course, it might get better,
but for the present lets hope the 17-18 version of SKJ lives up to exoectations.
