MVP of the first half? Derek Willis

Screen Shot 2016-01-16 at 3.44.03 PM

The game’s been pretty ugly so far, but one bright spot for Kentucky has been the play of Derek Willis. Willis has four points, six rebounds, one steal, one block, and one assist so far, but more importantly, he’s bringing a lot of fight and energy to a team that desperately needs it. Check out this great play off an Alex Poythress miss:

Keep it up, Derek.

      Willis’ stats better than Briscoe with 5 fewer minutes on the floor. Briscoe doing well except for free throws. Hope they both continue.

    @EdC – Really?

    Willis is deserving of his minutes.

    Did I say Willis wasn’t deserving of his minutes? No. The question is MVP and I liked Briscoe’s half better.

      Briscoe can’t hit the broad side of a barn, yet he continues to shoot. Thank the haevens he made 2 free throws.

    Great to see Derek’s focus and energy. He’s doing a good job on defense and grabbing a few boards to go along with his offense.
