The most impressive part of tonight’s win? All five of Kentucky’s starters scored in double figures:

  • Tyler Ulis: 19 points, 11 assists, 4 rebounds
  • Jamal Murray: 21 points, 4 assists, 8 rebounds
  • Isaiah Briscoe: 13 points, 3 assists, 3 rebounds
  • Alex Poythress: 12 points, 10 rebounds
  • Skal Labissiere: 11 points, 8 rebounds

According to my very quick research, that’s the first time this season that’s happened, and given how Murray and Ulis have carried the weight the past month, that’s a very encouraging stat.

The refs are making these games ugly. Too many fouls. I can understand calling fouls when it changes the results of a play but these ticky tack fouls way away from the basket are killing the college game. If a team has the rebound and some one bumps into him, please don’t call a foul 94 feet away. If it didn’t change the result of the play and it wasn’t excessive then let it go, Teams cannot get into a flow for the stoppage of play.

So…I wrote down that we wouldn’t win because we didn’t have Willis, because I was assured that would be the case by UKBigBoard. I guess he’s just an idiot

I didn’t say that, The Rest of the story did.

Skal absolutly no improvement since day one. He is just awful. With Brisco on the floor the other team only has to guard 4 players at most.
This team without Willis will lose every game he is not playing and you can write that down. Cal just does not care about the SEC period.

But I forgive you for making a mistake, and I agree, TROTS is just an idiot. ‘)

The Poison Dwarf strikes again. UKBBU is shorter than Tyler by 3 inches.

Nope. I’m taller than the Harrison twins and own my own home in Lexington. Truth hurts. 😉

I find it hilarious that Angelo refers to me as the Poison Dwarf, 30 minutes after posting that in Drew’s article.

Angelo is obviously a nerd troll who spends too much time trolling the internet.

Agree TT, love that balance but we must get rid of the inconsistent play from these guys. Another great stat line is the rebounding, did give up too many O boards but nice to see Skal, Lee, Murray and POY with 34 rebounds and like 30 of them were defensive. Also helped that UF could not put the ball in the ocean from a pier

I just wish that when Jamal Murray did the bow & arrow celebration someone would act like they got hit with an arrow.
