Monk up to No. 4 in ESPN’s Mock Draft 2.0

Lost in yesterday’s excitement was the release of Chad Ford’s Mock Draft 2.0 over at ESPN.com. The second coming of Ford’s mock draft hit internet shelves Tuesday afternoon and it includes three Kentucky Wildcats in the first-round projections.

Up first, Ford foresees Malik Monk going to the Philadelphia 76ers at No. 4 in a pick taken from the Los Angeles Lakers. It would pair Monk up with Markelle Fultz, the project No. 1 overall pick, in the Philly backcourt, which would be an absurd young scoring duo to go along with all those bigs.

De’Aaron Fox is next off the board to the Sacramento Kings at No. 10. That would make four Wildcats on the Kings roster, assuming DeMarcus Cousins isn’t dealt somewhere else between now and then. As a Kings fan, sign me up for that.

Lastly, Bam Adebayo is projected to the Milwaukee Bucks at No. 19, according to Ford. Let me go on record right now as saying I will eat a regulation-sized basketball if Bam falls that far in next summer’s draft.

See the entire mock with explanations of each projection here, although ESPN will ask for money to view it.

Obviously this list was made before Bam’s sweet layup last night! It would be awesome to see Bam have a KAT-like late season and shoot up the top-10….

A full size basketball, huh? Not that I believe you’ll lose the bet, but that’s a pretty heavy penalty if you did….pretty sure that would require a trip to the ER.

3 top picks and Briscoe may get drafted. No excuse not to make the final 4.
