Monk makes a big climb in ESPN’s new NBA Mock Draft 4.0

Chad Ford Insider has a brand new mock draft over at the Worldwide Leader and Malik Monk made a big jump in Ford’s new projection.

The new update has Monk going fourth overall to the Orlando Magic, which is his best projection among the many mock drafts out there. A desperate need for scoring is the reason cited for Monk to Orlando at that spot.

De’Aaron Fox, on the other hand, falls behind Dennis Smith to the fourth point guard off the board, according to Ford. He has Fox going seventh overall to the Sacramento Kings, where he would join Willie Cauley-Stein and Skal Labissiere.

Then there’s your boy Bam Adebayo down at No. 19 to the Milwaukee Bucks. If Bam gets that kind of feedback from GMs at the combine, I can’t imagine there’s any chance he will return for a sophomore season.

And that was today’s Wildcat update from ESPN’s new Mock Draft 4.0.

It makes absolutely zero sense that Fox would be the 4th PG off the board, regardless of team need.

If fox is the 4th pg taken, I can show you 3 gms that need to be fired.
