Monk falls out of top 10 in new CBS Sports mock draft

Howard Megdal over at CBS Sports updated the website’s NBA mock draft on Wednesday and I am going to agree to disagree on where he has the two lottery Wildcats slotted in his order.

Megdal has Fox falling to No. 7 with the New York Knicks as the fourth point guard off the board in the draft, behind Dennis Smith. Smith is also a lottery pick, but I think Fox hears his name called first, as do many of the other draft analysts.

Then there’s Monk dropping outside of the top 10 at No. 11 to the Charlotte Hornets. If Monk falls out of the top 10, I’ll eat my Malik Monk jersey that came in the mail yesterday.

Bam Adebayo is not included in Megdal’s mock first round.

Monk and MKG together would be fun.

@J-Dub421 Dennis Smith is the point guard for North Carolina State. He has been projected as a top 10 pick all season, but since his team sucked he hasn’t been in many highlights. He was a 5 star recruit and was offered a scholarship by Kentucky. I think he reclassified, so he wasn’t ranked in the 2016 top 100 on ESPN.

No way he falls out of the top 10. But if he does, I expect a video of you eating the jersey.

I hope Fox doesn’t go to the Knicks. With Phil Jackson as the head honcho, that place is a toxic cesspool that would be detrimental to a rookies career. I think if the Knicks replaced Jackson, New York would be a good fit for Fox

I thought Howie Mandel was a comedian and judge of America’s Got Talent?? He should stick with those things because he knows very little about NBA draft picks. 🙂

Justin Jackson ahead of Monk, and Donovan Mitchell 1 slot behind?

Well, everyone can’t get it right I guess.

Hoping the Hawks take on Bam.
