The No. 1 junior prospect in the state of Kentucky is staying in the Commonwealth at the next level.
This afternoon, 2021 four-star guard Zion Harmon officially announced his commitment to Western Kentucky, choosing the Hilltoppers over a final list that included Kansas, Maryland, Seton Hall, and Murray State.
“Thank you to all of the coaches who helped me on this long road to develop my game and helping me get better,” Harmon said in his official commitment video. “Thank you to all the ones who supported me and stuck with me through this long journey. Thank you to all the coaches who took the time to recruit me for the last three or four years. And lastly, I want to thank the ones who said I wouldn’t be here. It has motivated me every day to be here and do better on and off the court as a person and as a basketball player.
“With that being said, I will be attending Western Kentucky University. This is what everybody’s been looking for and I’m ready to get this show on the road at the next level.”
