Mark Fox made a joke about De’Aaron Fox on Saturday

There are few things I’d like to revisit from Saturday but one funny comment slipped through the cracks. After Georgia beat Texas, Bulldogs head coach Mark Fox made a funny about Kentucky’s point guard De’Aaron Fox.

“De’Aaron Fox and I are not related, but he did get the family quickness,” Fox quipped.

Get it, because they have the same last name. Ha!

“Their guards are terrific and their team is terrific,” Fox continued. “Obviously, they have it rolling and they put on a great crowd. We’ll have to play much better than we played today to give ourselves a chance to win. John’s done a great job.”

After Saturday, I’m not sure Kentucky “has it rolling” and if the guards are playing terrific, but hey, Fox has jokes. After coming into the preseason as one of the favorites in the SEC, Georgia’s struggling themselves right now. Here’s a snapshot of how both teams are doing going into tomorrow night:

I’m sure the PC police will dip into their poster board inventory and start protesting in front of Mark Fox’s house because that comment HAS to be raciest.
