It’s no secret around here that Marcus Lee is a great guy, but now he’s receiving some national recognition.  The National Association of Basketball Coaches has nominated Lee for the Good Works Team.

It isn’t the first time he’s received praise for providing service to the community.  He was on the 2015 SEC Community Service Team after logging more than 100 community service hours in his three short years.  A short version of the extensive list of projects he’s participated in: God’s Pantry, the UK Blanket Project and Samaritan’s Feet, and that’s just scratching the surface.

Marcus will find out if he’s made the final five-man squad on February 6.

I like that he has a mean streak on the court, yet has a heart of gold off the court.
