Lunardi Moves Kentucky to Louisville Regional

I think it’s safe to say that Joe Lunardi reads Kentucky Sports Radio.

Yesterday we told you how Kentucky could land in the Louisville regional without being a one-seed.  This morning Lunardi has moved Kentucky into the Louisville regional as a two-seed.  Coincidence?  I think not.

We’ll find out if Lunardi is close to being correct during tomorrow’s March Madness Bracket Preview Show.  It airs before the Cats take on Mississippi State at 12:30 on CBS.

Give us that bracket and we could start our second unit and go to final 4 haha

That’s probably what many folks thought about our 2010 team too…probably best to not underestimate anyone at that stage of the game.

Looks like a Duke bracket. UK will never get that lucky with this good of a team

Montana – Cincinnati, Purdue – Virginia to go to the Final Four? If true, this year’s bracket is opening up a lot earlier than last year’s bracket did!

Remember, we got the bracket we wanted last year and still couldn’t finish the deal. Be careful what you wish for…

I don’t think we really wanted that bracket……. We just got insanely lucky with Buffalo and UMBC winning. A Virginia team with Hunter in the Sweet 16 and Deandre Ayton in the 2nd round would have sucked.

As Willis said, the bracket was initially a gauntlet but there were multiple upsets.

Kind of reminds me of what a much earlier Cal said about troubles. Calvin Coolidge said if ten troubles are headed at you down the road, you can be sure that nine of them will run off the road into a ditch leaving you with only one to deal with.

My favorite bracket thusfar. Not only for UK but all around the fairest, imo.

Virginia has to like this, too.

I have never understood why people pay any attention to these early brackets. There are so many games left in the season along with conference tournaments that these things are worthless. Save this bracket and compare it to one that comes out in 2 weeks….they will be completely different….and the one after that will be completely different. Hell, they can’t even predict where UK will be going after we win the SEC tourneys in the past, and that’s the day the brackets come out.

Worthless. Waste of time lol. But it would be nice if we got this. And IF a frog had wings….

I know it’s pure blasphemy, but is anyone else hoping that Duke beats Virginia? They’ve already beat them once and with a loss and UK win, I would think we’d move up a spot.

Except after we beat Tennessee twice were gonna be a 1 seed. And should already be over Gonzaga and Virginia. If you lose to 16, should be banned from being a 1 for at least a decade.

Oh hell to the yes. Gimme gimme gimme. After years of being screwed by the selection committee, could we finally get a road like this as payback? Too much to ask?

Well if Joey Brackets says it’s possible then just write it down. Like the Pharaoh said: “So let it be written,so let it be done”.

The only thing close to what is predictable are the number one seeds. However, they can change every week if we have some upsets. The rest of the brackets are truly guess work. Go Cats
