It’s a funny gif but it kind of bothers me. Did Cal throw a jab in at the way Julius moves his mouth here?
Anywho, that line is just bananas. But it worries me because Vegas is the devil, weren’t we exactly 3 point favorites against UNC?

Vegas rarely misses but hopefully they miss just as badly on the UK/UL bball game as they did on the football game…

Yep they usually get it close.

The line I saw for UNC was that it opened at UK -5 then moved down to -1.5 at tip and I was at the MGM sportsbook. They’re usually close, but IU closed at -1.5 against Butler and got beat by 6, so they get it wrong sometimes.

Honestly, it worries me because this, just like the aforementioned IU bet, seems like a slam dunk and they want to sucker the UK fans into taking the bait, which in all likelihood I’ll end up doing. I just don’t get it, though. UofL has looked very average against several opponents (looking at you, Grand Canyon) and they struggle to score. It should be a good game, but if this game is played 10 times I think UK probably wins 7/8 of them. I’ll take the cats 78-69.

I’m not going to lie, I’ve always felt the same way about the GIF. Not to be all PC, but come on Cal. Cats by 9.

We are 2-4 under Cal in our first true road game, we are coming an all time classic of a game, and Louisville is still a Top 10 team with the best defense in the country per KenPom. I know I wouldn’t be surprised to see them come out a little flat tomorrow night, doesn’t seem like Vegas would either. Guessing it settles out around a pick-em.

My thoughts as a Kentucky fan = wow what no way!?
My thoughts from gambling perspective = hmm sounds about right.

Young team, 1st true road game, Cal being 2-5 here in first road game..
Goodness look at that stat alone. Cal with a 2-5 record in anything basketball related is shocking.

Won’t touch it – primarily for this reason: Ayers, Luckie and Groover.

Other than adding Pat Adams, can’t think of a worse crew for UK.
