Louisville freshman Akoy Agau suspended indefinitely

Image via 247Sports

Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: Louisville just handed out another indefinite suspension.

The Cardinals announced that freshman Akoy Agau has been suspended indefinitely. Agau has played in seven games this season, scoring two points and seven rebounds. So, not a major loss for the Cards by any stretch, but still.

Over/under on the number of days he’s actually suspended?

“And coming to the scorer’s table for the Cards, it’s…it’s Agau. WHOA! We didn’t expect to see him playing today.”

I wonder what UK did to get him in trouble…

I say he’s reinstated by Dec. 27 …. After he learns his lesson! Remember with Chain it only took about a week. According to Pitino he will admit his mistakes and move on from there. I’d say 7 days!

I envision a Pez despenser with Pitino’s head passing out indefinite suspensions. He will be back in a week…MAX…

He will be suspended as long as it takes to drive to Owensboro to a homeless shelter visit and back.

Using The Pitino Theorem, Indefinite = 3 weeks and a night of restaurant sex = 15 seconds

Call me a skeptic but I figure his suspension is directly related to his production on the court. If the above stats are true, he could be out a long time.

Coach is punishing me by making me mop the floors at restaurants after he finishes wit his skanks. At least, I only have to wait a few seconds for him to make his mess.

At least Rivk suspends players. Cal does not do this. The NCAA suspended Dodson for drugs. Jones was a head case and had drug issues and Cal swept it under the rug. Ask Robert Dozier what his punishment was for punch his gf in the face. He missed zero games.

Also, regarding “Rick” suspending players, just saying a player is indefinitely suspended, but not actually suspending the player, doesn’t count as a suspension.

Jones a “head cast with drug issues”? Want to cite your source for that one?

The difference in all of your shit, as opposed to the issues with the Cards, is that the Cards’ issues are verifiable, except for Chane’s supposed drug issues. Ware’s threatening tweets (hacked, lol), speeding tickets, etc., are all easily confirmed. Your supposed issues, aside from something that happened at Memphis, are not. And Dodson’s issues happened after he had left UK.

I’m laughing at you Yuts who have no idea what “indefinite” means. It doesn’t mean “a long time” like some of you seem to thing. It LITERALLY means “we have no idea how long this suspension will last.”

Indefinite simply means an unstated period of time…that could be 2 days, 2 weeks, or 2 hours.

  31. Webster
    3:39 pm December 20, 2013 Permalink

Indefinite = 1.) the number of vodka drinks that Tom Jurich can consume on a 48 hour bender. 2.) the number of times Rick Pitino will cheat on his wife 3.) the amount of drugs that the UL basketball team will consume this season.

      Truth is speaking truth.

Besides, you guys are getting all worked up about a suspension of a bench player. Maybe it’s because Cal doesn’t discipline his players for anything (see also: Jeremy Hunt. Terrence Jones, etc) that you guys are so passionate about the topic. It’s baffling to you that a coach would suspend a player.

“News Flash … Akoy just apologized, said he was sorry, he has been re-activated, everything is OK once again, no sweat.”

    That was hilarious, brother!

I’m sure if this kid is really, really, really sorry (like Chane was), Pitino will drop the suspension! Lol!! Actually I tend to agree with the other posters who said that Pitino will make an example of this kid. He is not an integral part of their team, so Pitino will keep his suspension in place for a while to try and make people believe that he has a little control over that team.

Pitino’s supsensions are as big of a farce as TJ’s rationale for keeping Clint Hurtt–he did his cheating at another school, not Louisville. Everything is always good in “The ‘Ville”!! Lol!!!
