Former Kentucky star Tyrese Maxey isn’t even in the NBA yet, and he’s already teaming up with the game’s brightest stars.
Late Thursday evening and early this morning, pictures began circling on social media of the former Wildcat participating in an open run out in Beverly Hills, California with the likes of LeBron James and Ben Simmons.
While no footage of the action has been released yet, numerous photos of Maxey alongside both James and Simmons have been released by Klutch Sports Group, the agency representing all three players.
Check out just a few of the pictures released last night:

While we can’t see any of the live action to find out how Maxey fared against the All-Star talent, we did get some footage of the former Wildcat working out with UK signee BJ Boston in Los Angeles earlier in the week.

Trading 3-pointers shot for shot, Maxey said the No. 3 jersey – the same number Boston picked to wear for the 2020-21 season – is “in good hands.”
That number 3 in good hands fasho! @bboston_ #BBN https://t.co/cDGjP1Dfyt

Maxey, who earned All-SEC Second Team (coaches), SEC All-Freshman Team, and SEC Freshman of the Week (three times) honors in his standout season at Kentucky, is widely expected to be selected in the lottery of the upcoming 2020 NBA Draft.
