The tradition continues.
Like we saw following Kentucky’s blowout victory over Louisville on the football field, the basketball Wildcats threw some Ls Down of their own at the conclusion of the team’s 78-70 overtime victory over the Cards on Saturday afternoon.
The leader of the pack was none other than Nick Richards, who finished with a superb 13 points and 10 rebounds in the victory.
Take a look at the footage, which may or may not lead to shed tear or two:

Careful Nick you’ll hurt the fans’ feelings….LMAO!
Great game Nick, you deserved to give L’s down. Hope it didn’t hurt anyone’s feelings.
I don’t really get this one. It seems like he’s trying too hard here. I mean, if it was @ Louisvile, I get it. But who is he doing it to? It’s all blue.
The kids just celebrating and trying to get HIS FANS involved!! I thought is was fine and nothing disrespectful intended. Just having some old fashioned fun. Just how I took it UKLugo.
There were lots of Louisville fans throwing Ls up in the crowd after the game was over. I guess showing card pride even after the loss lol
BP I think that’s called denial. Lord knows they’re familiar with it, they still think they won the national championship that was vacated.
The L down never gets old.
Big [email protected]# Nick with the Ls down is a topping on my next pizza
The coach apparently didn’t even try to tattle on him like Satterfield did in football.
At least we don’t have to read comments from the old dude who kept saying Richards and Montgomery are wasted scholarships.
Proud of nick for that “fight” tonight! Good job!
Most emotion we have seen from Nick since he’s been here.
He wanted that win and fought like everything for it and finished plays like a true Wildcat. Glad to see that heart.
It’s even quite in Catland from all those supposed UK fans who said no way we could win. Lol funny
