Not only is the Kentucky basketball team back on campus, they’re also back in the gym.
This afternoon, UK freshman guard BJ Boston posted a short clip on his Instagram story underneath one of Kentucky’s championship banners in the Joe Craft Center.
“First day out,” Boston said following the mid-day workout.
Check out the short clip:
Boston was one of nine scholarship Kentucky basketball players to move into their dorms at the Wildcat Coal Lodge this past weekend, joining Terrence Clarke, Devin Askew, Lance Ware, Cam’Ron Fletcher, Keion Brooks Jr., Dontaie Allen, Olivier Sarr, Davion Mintz, and Jacob Toppin. UK signee Isaiah Jackson is the lone scholarship player who has not yet arrived on campus, though KSR has reported that the five-star forward will join his teammates in Lexington this weekend.
KSR can confirm – as first reported by Shawn Smith of Go Big Blue Country – that players are able to participate in individual workouts without teammates or coaches as of today.
I can confirm this. A source tells Go Big Blue Country players are allowed in the Joe Craft Center to shoot (without coaches). Players can’t go in groups or as a team right now. Everything is individually. https://t.co/6P9trlBv6o

Boston is the first to post he has worked out in the Joe Craft Center, but expect more players to post updates in the coming days.
