Lloyd Tubman is clearly benefitting from the UK strength program

Erik Korem has been making headlines this summer with his innovative and forward-thinking strength and conditioning program at Kentucky. We’ve seen pictures of some of the guys and how they have transformed over the summer. The picture above comes from Larry Vaught via Grover Sales, who says that UK freshman defensive lineman Lloyd Tubman has put on 15 lbs. this summer. They say that Kentucky’s team is starting to look more “SEC” physically. Um, check.

It will show on the field NOW that we are getting SEC caliber players. And sure doesn’t hurt having Erik Korem. The questions is what will we have to do to keep him?

Tubman has the potential to be an NFL starter. From watching him in high school, he just needs to learn to play every play and I’m sure Stoops will ingrain a great work ethic in him.
