Least surprising news of the day: Georgia giving away t-shirts at tomorrow’s game

Stop me if you’ve heard this one before…

A team hosting the University of Kentucky in a basketball game will give away t-shirts to fans in attendance.

In this case, it is Georgia giving away t-shirts honoring Bulldog senior J.J. Frazier, who is in his sixteenth season in Athens. The shirts will have Frazier’s number on them and they will be given to the first 1,000 students to enter Stegeman Coliseum for tomorrow night’s game.

Everyone’s Super Bowl.

Every. Single. Time.

  1. “Same song, second verse.”
    “Later, rinse, repeat.”
    Insert your own cliche here.

*I think the SEC must have made the white out/blackout/red out, etc. t-shirt day mandatory for all UK road opponents and didn’t tell us & UK. Check it out Drew!!! 😉

I watched a bit of the Arizona/Washington State game last night. This is why we play a top 25 team every time we go on the road: Places are full and they give out shirts. That game last night, top 5 opponent with a great tradition…place was maybe 20% full. That isnt a road game.

I watched the same game and thought the same thing. I’ve seen high school games with bigger crowds. I know Pullman, Washington isn’t a hotbed for basketball but you’d think some people may come out to see Arizona play, although Arizona’s uniforms probably kept some people away. Hideous.

    What else is new?
One thing certain about the Georgia game…they will have their only sellout of the season.
