LaVar Ball wants a billion dollar shoe deal for his boys

LaVar Ball must not be selling enough of those $60 t-shirts over at his Big Baller Brand online store — where he sells merchandise for his three boys without using their likeness — because he wants more, more, more. A whole lot more.

In a new story for USA Today, LaVar Ball said he will try to sell his three boys as a package endorsement deal to Nike, Under Armour or Adidas for one billion dollars.

“A billion dollars, it has to be there,’’ Ball said. “That’s our number, a billion, straight out of the gate. And you don’t even have to give it to me all up front. Give us $100 mil over 10 years.’’

In that same story, we learn Lonzo and LiAngelo Ball, a high school senior, each drive $100,000 BMWs. LaMelo Ball isn’t old enough to drive yet, but he will also get one from his parents, a personal trainer and a middle school teacher. (Something doesn’t add up there.)

Will someone please tell this man he is hurting his sons’ brand? Nike, Under Armour and Adidas aren’t paying top dollar if everyone hates his sons, which is really easy to do because of comments like this. Plus LiAngelo Ball isn’t even good enough for all the talkin’ going on. He is the 55th-ranked shooting guard in the class.

I honestly can’t wait to see the Ball family in Memphis. Maybe I should tell him.

Not to mention how someone totally beat the crap out Lonzo with an ugly stick. That is one homely looking dude.

Yep, if they ever do a “Son of Frankenstein” movie, he’s their man.
I was watching the tournament games over the weekend, and I thought I saw an ad that had all of his sons in the commercial….wouldn’t that be against the NCAA rules.

It would only be against NCAA rules if he played outside of the ACC or played for UK.

The ball kids are grotesque looking. Sorry but it true. I actually feel for them because they can’t control what their ass clown of a dad does or says. I’m sensing their overhyped little world is going to coming crashing down at some point. Arrogance tends to onset bad karma.

Lonzo is good, no question about that. Lamelo’s 90 point game was a sham (he never played a second of defense). I haven’t seen the littlest Ball play but for his sake I hope his game is more like his biggest brother

Lamelo is the youngest brother. They have a middle brother who is going to UCLA, too. He’s not nearly as good as Lonzo, and Lamelo though.

Please, Basketball Gods, allow us the opportunity to expose this clown and his entire family. Don’t let them lose early like I know you would love to see them do. Just give us a chance.

    Sincerely,

I get being proud of your boys, but this dude takes it to a whole new level. I hope he got them BMWs in a legitimate fashion, by the way. Doubt it though.

The fastest way for this jackass to make a billion $$ is to charge $100 per for a shot at knocking his Chiclets out of his ugly mug.

Like it or not, he’s just the first to exploit his kids. Someone is going to capitalize on these children, why not their father? Money stays in house so to speak.

He is making the Real Donald Trump look sane as well. We can all agree Trump is super-proud of Ivanka and to a degree his 2 older sons, like this dude is of his 3 boys.

I can’t wait to unleash Dom on him, especially if we have refs from other conferences that actually allow some physicality

He’s got 6 or 7 inches on Hawkins. UCLA is a matchup nightmare for us. Primarily because they are big and their 4s are complete players…which really exposes the deficiencies we’ve had at the 4 this year.

They also don’t believe in playing defense.

If he were an answer on $100,000 Pyramid ( yeah it started as $25k- for those old enough to recall), the person giving the clues would be remiss if they did not use the phrases: You want to ” b!tch slap”and ” throat punch.”
I feel for his talented kids. They have to cringe every time he opens his mouth.

Bizarre comments make for good press in this 60 second sound bite time we live in. He’s the epitome of some that needs to be ignored —- except by Drew Franklin, of course. Reminds me of the father of that west coast quarterback (the name escapes me) who was groomed from birth to be the best QB ever, then proceeded to flame out big time. The whole thing is laughable.

I really hope NCAA finds some type of illegal benefits in this family and expose this dad for the piece of $h*t that he is. He was a joke as a player and now he’s trying to live through his sons. Lonzo isn’t that great to begin with. Everyone talked about how he was going to beat us all on his own and he ended up with pedestrian numbers. He pushes off a lot on his drives. I’d love to smash them in the tourney. Please let that happen

A touching story of the love a father has for (the pile of money) his sons (can get him). Very CREEPY and sad. Wonder how much he got when he sold his soul.
