It may have been the ugliest game in the history of basketball, but the Cats took care of business, beating Louisville 58-50. Tyler Ulis and Karl Towns were absolutely heroic, scoring 14 and 10 points a piece. In fact, UK’s freshmen accounted for 39 of UK’s 58 points.
We’ll have more all afternoon…eat it, Louisville!

I was really hoping we’d win by 10 but after dominating them all game its hard to complain. Now we get to watch them lose even more in the ACC.
How do you lose at home with the officials in your back pocket by 8 pts. Then play your azz off to get it under a 10pt loss. Worst officiated game I seen in a long time.
You have you some malt liquor in the Ville? The ugliest game of all time? We had some of the butter on our fingers in the first half, but it looked a lot like 2 very defensively grown teams going at it to me.
Let’s not do the loserville thing and blame everything on the officials (even though I do feel like the Cats got the short end of it.) Wasn’t pretty and I admit it was closer than I anticipated. Would love to get them again in the tournament. Get out of Yum and it would not be that close.
I’m more upset that our players could have gotten seriously hurt by the pushing, shoving and hitting by louisville and the refs were letting it get out of hand.
Sorry but the refs refused to call the most obvious fouls in the world on UL and then call touch fouls on the Cats. RexRox did not watch the game with a basketball IQ for sure.
They already let an elbow to the face go with no call. Its horseshit. Everywhere else, the rule is elbow to the face is auto flagrant 1. But apparently they changed that

The Tardnals are a joke. Cal owns Rick. UL are OUR B-otches. They get the refs going all their way and still manage to struggle to get the loss at less than 10 pts. What a bunch of Punks those guys are.
