KSR Asks: Who is your favorite former Wildcat?

ksr-asks

Back with another edition of KSR Asks with the Kentucky basketball team. This time, we asked each player to name their favorite former Wildcat.

Most of the answers were predictable, but I could give you a hundred guesses to name Poythress’ favorite and I’m certain you wouldn’t get it.

We started coming to games in our thirties in the 1920’s. My all-time favorite Cat is Ming Yu Xiang and Mildred’s is Dick Harpoonian

Brandon Knight did a lot of damage his year there. That was coach Cal’s best coaching job, not a single NBA all star on that team. But I just remember Brandon putting in work from all 3 levels EFFICIENTLY! Suck a quick release from the 3 … it was special. That was my favorite year. That year is the one that gets forgotten.

Knight will end up an all-star before too long, he nearly made it last season

Did not think I could love DHawk anymore until he said my man, Keith Bogans. Always been my favorite player… Actually, Charles Matthews reminds me of him to this point, at BBM I noticed his defense and also him taking to the hoop. Shades of Keith in the back of my mind…

I feel Murray didn’t know any former UK players and he didn’t care either. Seems he doesn’t belong to this group. It’s just a short stop for him, then jump to NBA.

    • Jus Sayin
      4:17 pm October 26, 2015 Permalink

I’m sure he knows… He just met like 30 of them between Big Blue madness, the Alumni game and NBA exhibition.

He mentioned 2 or 3 the day he signed with UK on TSN. (Canada’s ESPN)

He probably just actually didn’t want to pick and stay diplomatic. Stop trying to start stuff.
