Kentucky’s win over Tennessee the third most watched game this season

Duke may be the show this year, but Kentucky’s still drawing plenty of viewers. The Cats’ win over No. 1 Tennessee on Saturday was the third most watched game this season, trailing only the Duke vs. Virginia games on Jan. 19 and Feb. 9.

The Kentucky vs. Tennessee game drew a 1.75 rating and 3.01 million viewers on ESPN. According to this chart from Sports Media Watch, Kentucky has played in four of seven most watched games this season:

Those rankings are going to change after tonight’s Duke vs. North Carolina game, but it’s still good to see the Cats bring in big numbers.

Unfortunately it will fall to #4 after tonight. Go Heels. God, that hurts to say.

On second thought.. pUKe will only drop to #2 if they get beat. So screw it.

I’d be shocked if they dropped from #1 at all, and I’m be serious.

I would not argue that one second with the love fest going on with that program right now. It’s beyond anything I’ve seen over the years and with them.. that’s saying a lot.

Did you see Gameday at Dook tonight? Must have been outside; Bilas was wearing a sock cap, and a heavy coat.
He reminded me of the little brother on “Christmas Story”. I don’t believe he could put his arms down.

Missed that. Ole Roy should have had the Tar Heel mascot knock him over to see if Bilas could get back up by himself in that big coat.

Surprised to see IU/Mich there but how is MSU/PSU there? There must not have been anything on 1-12-19 and the Country must have all been snowed in. Miss the home and home series with IU.

And it was SO much better than those UVA m/dook games. Uva is almost unwatchable.
