Kentucky’s Second Half Shot Chart is Ridiculous

Wenyen Gabriel’s perfect 7-for-7 three-point shooting perfjoamcne rightfully stole the show, but he wasn’t the only Wildcat on fire in the SEC Tournament semifinal.

In the second half against Alabama, Kentucky missed only three shots.  What’s even more impressive — the Cats were 15-of-16 on jump shots.  UK’s shooting chart is unbelievable.

@ESPNStatsInfo

Through both halves Kentucky shot 64 percent from the field and 67 percent from behind the three-point line.  Not too shabby.

    As I mentioned in another post…..at 84% overall, and 89% from 3-point range, we must have set a record of some sort for FG% in a half…….that was just ridiculous……..

    Tell ya what, Sasha K Jones has woken up…..3-3 today, 2 blocks…….solid minutes……a few moving screens to be sure, but the intensity and effort are there. Nick Richards, bless his heart, has simply not blossomed yet…..he will, but probably at a port town in Turkey……..but we are fine.

      Richards is a lot further along than SKJ was this time last season. He will emerge eventually. Good news is we probably get both back.

      I’ve wanted to see more minutes from him all year because Richards gives us very little and SKJ has a nice smooth jumper that can stretch the defense a little. But he still looks lost sometimes rebounding the ball and I think it keeps him off the floor. But I agree we get both back and both have the potential to develop into very nice players

      Slater you said NIT in November.

      They’re still here, but most of them are just pretending like they never fell off the bandwagon.

      I never understand how people forger about Cal’s ability to get teams to peak in late February/March. If they’re not absolutely dominant all season, they think we’re destined to go to the NIT.

      I’m sure they’ll be back if we lose tomorrow or if we get knocked out of the tourney, regardless of how far we make it. Some people are just never satisfied.

      Slater has a convenient memory. Funny how he makes all kinds of excuses for our opponents but never cuts UK any slack. Typical fan of another program pretending to be a BBN fan.

    “perfjoamcne“ ~Nick Roush

    Not even close

    The Cats basketball “perfjoamcne” was much better than your journalism “perfjoamcne”.

    Hard to say Richards is farther along than Sasha was at this time last year. Only because Cal starts him and has given him a chance to come out of it. Sasha played zero minutes once we got into conference play last year. Sasha couldn’t find minutes last year because he was such a defensive liability. He seems to be getting it this year and deserves his minutes. Nick on the other hand is a liability on both sides of the ball. I’m rooting for the kid, I think he has tremendous upside but he’s a year or 2 away with a lot of work to do.

    Zero offensive rebounds for us in the 2nd half? OMG we need to work on that!
