Kentucky won its 600th game in Rupp Arena

The Wildcats hit a milestone on Saturday with the 83-52 victory over Fairleigh Dickinson. The win was the program’s 600th in Rupp Arena, which set a new record for fastest run to 600 wins in a venue.
And with that we're the fastest to reach 600 wins in a venue in @NCAA DI MBB history.

After the game, John Calipari was asked what it meant to hit the 600 mark and he gave all of the credit to the program that was built long before him, going all the way back to the Baron.
“This started with Coach Rupp,” Calipari said. “He never really got to coach in this building, but everyone who has followed him has won a national title — just about everybody. Everyone that’s followed him has probably won 90 percent of their games in this building, so it’s not just me. It’s everybody. He set that base.
“I brag on Coach Hall on the time because who would want to follow that? And he did and went to Final Fours and won a national title.
“This is a unique place. I’m blessed that I even had an opportunity. How did I get here and what happened for me personally? I don’t know.”
