Last season’s matchup between Kentucky and Kansas in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge didn’t end how Kentucky fans had hoped, but luckily, the two programs will square off again soon. According to CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein, Kentucky will host Kansas in this season’s SEC/Big 12 Challenge, bringing the battle of the blue bloods to Rupp.

Other matchups, according to Rothstein:

  • Texas @ Georgia
  • Baylor @ Ole Miss
  • Texas A&M @ West Virginia
  • Iowa State @ Vanderbilt
  • Kansas State @ Tennessee
  • Florida @ Oklahoma
  • Auburn @ TCU
  • Arkansas @ Oklahoma State
  • LSU @ Texas Tech

Bring it on.

This is why KY should leave the SEC. The other conferences protect their big programs and the SEC does everything it can to screw KY. When was the last time you saw 5 players foul out? Wayne Selden Jr. plays 44 mins. without a foul???? Anyone remember a big game where any team shot more free throws than DUKE? KY should be like Notre Dame football was just be an independent in basketball and play every Sat. on NBC.
