Yet…you could argue they got the toughest draw. Yep, makes sense.

It doesn’t matter. Toss it up and let’s play.

I agree. We always get the toughest draw. Gotta win 6 no matter where you are in the bracket.

If we are the top 2 seed you can’t tell it by the sports media.

They did not have him vs Zona and were down 2 with less than a minute to go and Zona is playing as well as anyone except maybe dUKe. Safe to say they can still win games without him, he was a shot blocker and not much else.

He averaged 12 points and 5-7 rebounds.

And yet, remarkably (not), Dan Dakich reported that Arizona was the top 2 seed on ESPN.

It would seem fair that the “top 2 seed” would be placed with the weakest #1 (Gonzaga) to reward them for being the 5th best team in the country while simultaneously providing the #4 team with a somewhat harder road. That said, I’m well beyond believing the selection committee utilizes any such logic other than to ensure we get the hardest road possible (with as many revenge/high profile games as possible) each season.

Would rather UK play in Memphis than out in Cali. Is why as top 2 seed we did not go to West bracket. I know for the 1 seed they call and ask them what region they want, they may do that for the top 2 seed as well so this may be the region we picked. Thought I heard them say that several weeks ago.

Please tell me how UCLA is a 3 seed in our bracket when they were ranked #3 overall. While out West…Florida State is a 3 seed and ranked #16! Also how is Wichita State a 10 seed when they were ranked #20 overall? We get screwed every single year in the brackets but whatever lets play ball! GO BIG BLUE BABY! It’s time for MONK MADNESS! 😜

UCLA #3 overall???? Wichita #20???? where you get your numbers from. UCLA finished 3rd in a conference that only got 4 teams in, if you count USC in since they are a play in game. Even our sorry conference got 5 in, granted the Pac has 3 highly rated teams.

Call me crazy wearebbn but I’d rather not have the toughest potential sweet 16 matchup of any 2 or 3 seed

Haven’t gotten to see the seeding yet but I’m just in awe that UNC is a 1 seed with 7 losses and UK beat them…..
