Kentucky-Vanderbilt: Numbers You Need to Know

If the wait is the hardest part, waiting for the 9:00 p.m. tip-off at Memorial Gymnasium is the most difficult thing Kentucky fans will do all year.  While you wait, get a refresher on all of the numbers that matter in Kentucky’s matchup with Vanderbilt.

0 — Times Bryce Drew has defeated the Kentucky Wildcats in five attempts.

2 — Vanderbilt players averaging double figures, Saban Lee (13.4 ppg) and Simi Shittu (13.1).

2.3 — Steals per game by Ashton Hagans.  Only Tremont Waters has more steals.  Hagans has at least two steals in each of the last nine games.

6 —  Vanderbilt has made 147 threes this season, the sixth-most in the SEC, but they only make 33.3 percent of their attempts, ranked 11th in the SEC.

8.1 — Rebounds per game by P.J. Washington, good for fifth in the SEC.

14.3 — Points per game in SEC play by Aaron Nesmith, the most by any Commodore.

16 — Average points Washington has scored through the last four games, including a pair of back-to-back 20+ point performances.

69 — Vanderbilt’s free throw shooting percentage is ranked 10th in the SEC. Nice.
