It’s halftime in Gainesville and your Kentucky Wildcats are trailing the Florida Gators 33-29.

Considering how poorly the Cats are shooting, they’re fortunate to only be down by four, honestly. Kentucky is shooting 35.3 percent from the floor, 21.4 percent from the outside. Not only are they missing a lot of threes (3-14), they’re missing far too many gimmes on the inside. Looking at you, Reid Travis.

Tyler Herro leads the way with 10 points and 5 rebounds, followed by PJ Washington with 8 points and 6 rebounds. Keldon Johnson, Ashton Hagans, and Reid Travis each have two. The Cats trail the Gator in points in the paint 14-12, a stat that needs to flip if Kentucky wants to take control.

Here’s to a better second half.

We are getting hammered down low and 3 of their 3’s have come by blatant moving screens. Other than that, we gotta shoot the ball better. Like the way we’re rebounding.

What the hell has happened to Keldon? Last 3 games he’s looked terrible.

If we hold on to win this will be the first time all season that our defense won a game when our offense wasn’t there. Big step up for the cats.
