The 26th annual matchup between Kentucky and Ohio’s top basketball stars went down last night, and our fellow Kentuckians brought home all the gold.
The Kentucky girls were led by Franklin County’s Princess Stewart, who scored 18 points to help her team rally from behind to get the 82-74 win, picking up MVP honors in the process.
On the boys’ side, the star of the night was Dunbar standout and KY Mr. Basketball Taveion Hollingsworth, who scored a team high 19 points. He also totally ate some kid’s lunch with this block:

Also making an appearance last night was future UK football super-athlete Lynn Bowden. Curtis Burch had a chat with Bowden’s coach to learn a bit more about the kid’s competitive drive:
