For the second week in a row, Kentucky did not make the AP Top 25. The newest poll just dropped and Kentucky received 33 votes, making them the 27th best team in the country in the eyes of the voters.

The top four of the poll remains the same (Virginia, Michigan State, Villanova, Xavier), but Duke jumped seven spots to No. 5 after wins over Virginia Tech and Clemson. Auburn’s loss at South Carolina dropped them from No. 10 to No. 12 while Tennessee fell a spot to No. 19 after losing at Georgia. Texas A&M fell out of the poll after back-to-back losses at Missouri and Arkansas.

Seriously KU and NC top 10?!?!? We beat UL by 10 more than UNC. KU needs help from refs to win. I hope both are in our bracket. They are weak. REVENGE.

In UNC’s defense they did play a real hard schedule. I mean Wofford?! Talk about some studs on that team

Kansas needed 35 to 2 FT advantage. And, Wofford was beaten by 20 by that southern powerhouse, Furman.

The only way we get back in the Top 25 by NCAA tourney time, is if we finish strong with no more than 1 loss, including winning the SEC tourney….or maybe 2 losses, if the 2nd is a close SEC Champ game.
