Kentucky still #2 in the latest AP Poll

After the first weekend of the season, there have been some major changes in the AP Top 25, but not where the Cats are concerned. Duke and Kentucky remain number one and number two in the poll, which just dropped. Defending champ Villanova comes in at number three, followed by Oregon, North Carolina, Indiana and Kansas.

    Ha-ha! No. 11 IU beat No. 3 KU in OT, and someone votes them the best team in the country, over No. 1 and undefeated Duke and No. 2 and undefeated UK. What a homer!

    Have they already hung a banner in Assembly Hall — excuse me, Cindy Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall — for beating a No. 3 team?
