It wasn’t pretty at the start, but Kentucky quickly found its footing and sprinted past Miles Bridges and Michigan State 69-48. Malik Monk led the way with 23 points, including SEVEN threes. Isaiah Briscoe had 21 points for the second game in a row, followed by De’Aaron Fox with 12 points, 5 assists, and 4 rebounds.

We’ll have plenty from the game tonight, so stick around…

Excellent win for UK! I don’t think anybody seen this coming. Excellent perimeter defense from them. Go cats!!!

This team has unbelievable potential…IF they continue to improve. Bam is so frustrated right now, and he needs to work out of his funk. Fox was really off. Willis non-existent. Humphries did not play that great. And really only Briscoe and Monk played well. Even then they still won by 20. They have a long way to go to be a clicking on all cylinders….but with their defense, they will be tough to beat by anyone. Best thing about tonight is we now know who takes that shot when the chips are down and the game is on the line.

Good and fair analysis. Correct one of the deficiencies mentioned above and we are really good; correct all of them . . . I wouldn’t hazard to guess.

      Perfect from the line.

Yea there weren’t many of us last year who were defending him but looking back at his HS stats he was 70% from the line. Clearly a mental issue that is over and now he has shooting along with his unbelievable hustle and IQ.

it was probably the only human on this site that could read a box score!! 13% 3-pt shooter and 40% ft shooter. the worst shooting guard in the history of college ball last year! if he does better this yr ill be the FIRST to congratulate him. it changes nothing from last year. btw big board…what consumes your mind controls your life!! I OWN YOU. ba haha

So, 8/15 from inside the arc. 53% FG
      5/5 from FT, 100%.
      19.6 ppg.

      Can you read that?

MSU shot 33% from FT line so maybe they just have bad shooters, we do not play D while they shoot ft’s. Agree that for mid November we look good, just hope they continue to work and stay hungry and this could be one scary team. Bam with 5 turnovers? Love the way this group really seems to like each other and play together.
