Kentucky rises to No. 6 in new AP Poll

After another tumultuous week in college basketball, Kentucky is moving up the AP Poll. The Cats jumped two spots to No. 6 after beating Georgia Tech on Saturday.
Kansas replaces Louisville as the new No. 1 team in the country, followed by Gonzaga, Louisville, Duke, and Ohio State. Fellow SEC teams Auburn and Tennessee come in at No. 12 and No. 21, respectively. Texas Tech, Kentucky’s opponent in the Big 12/SEC Challenge, is No. 24.
After three straight losses, North Carolina dropped out of the poll for the first time since February 2014. You hate to see it.

3 Comments for Kentucky rises to No. 6 in new AP Poll
It’s about right. Ohio State would have jumped Kansas for #1 had they not lost to Illinois. No problem with #2 and #3.
Polling seems like a useless exercise until about February.
Agreed but why not have some fun with it in the meantime?
