Kentucky opens as the underdog vs. Mississippi State

Vegas has spoken and Kentucky is the underdog vs. Mississippi State. The Bulldogs opened as a 1-point favorite in tomorrow’s game in Starkville. The total is currently 132.5. Considering Kentucky hasn’t scored more than 63 points in a game in over a month, I’d go with the under there.

In fact, the Cats have gone under the total in all seven games this season. They’ve covered the spread in three: Morehead State (-25.5), Kansas (+4.5), and Louisville (+3.5)

KenPom likes Kentucky by one, predicting a 67-66 victory. Sagarin Predictor gives the Cats a very slim edge as well, less than a point.

As always, gamble responsibly.

Until they prove they make a open jump shot, or free throws, I would never pick them.

It’s gone from willing to play anybody at anytime to the schedule is too tough.

Why would Calipari schedule a juggernaut like Miss St this early in conference? He should smack himself in the face. These poor kids don’t deserve this murder’s row of top 200 teams. Considering we’ve played one team that’s currently ranked in top 25 and we’re already 1-6
