Kentucky opens as a 5-point favorite against Kansas; spread already up to 7 points

Vegas has spoken and Kentucky opened as a five-point favorite over Kansas. Interestingly, according to Vegas Insider, the spread opened at 5:45 p.m. last night, before the news of Carlton Bragg’s suspension came out; this afternoon, the spread is up to Kentucky by seven.

Kentucky’s 13-7 against the spread so far this season, including a 1-4 run in the last four games.

As always, gamble responsibly.

Ah, the game to see who will rebound from an embarrassing loss and keep themselves in the running for a 1-seed in the last meaningful game they’ll play before the postseason.

Glad we get this one at home. Hope Cal fixed Briscoe since the Tennessee game.

I think we’ll win, but Kansas being small will do us no favors defensively with the strategy I assume we will continue to stick to. We just have to take advantage of the lack of size when we have the ball. Would love to see Bam get double digit FG attempts for a change.

With Bragg out and their depth that much less, Bam better get a touch in the paint every possession.
