Kentucky opens as a 5.5 point favorite over UCLA

The early lines are out and Kentucky is a 5.5 point favorite in tomorrow night’s showdown with UCLA in Pauley Pavilion. There’s still no official word on whether or not Tyler Ulis will play, but I’m pretty sure that’s him dribbling next to his BFF Isaiah Briscoe, so I’d say he’s probably good to go.
Speaking of the game, if you’re in the LA area, tickets are STILL available via Ticketmaster and secondary markets. Seriously, you can find them on GuyOnTheCornerTickets.com and Stubhub for under $20, so no excuses.

Who cares about odds.
People who gamble…
they are often very accurate. it is fun to watch.
Its amazing how accurate the lines are. Oddsmakers set the line with the goal of having even number bets on both sides so they can make consistent profit. The line isn’t always what they think a team will win by but just enough to make both sides of the bet enticing.
I am a bit surprised the line is so low for Kentucky.
It would seem they are looking for more action on UK. Ulis’ status obviously in the unknown. If he was 100% I imagine the line would be bigger. UCLA looked terrible in Hawaii.
Dang, I don’t know how you can make out Briscoe and Ulis in that picture. 🙂
Lol, nice photo of Hawkins butt.
Looks like Alex to me
1000% sure that’s Alex
Okay, Alex’s butt then.
My awesome wife (UCLA alum) got us tickets to this game. I’m so stoked!
Am I the only one who thinks that is a really low spread?
Agreed. Maybe because Ulis hasn’t been cleared to play?
Good point
