Kentucky opens as a 4-point favorite at Alabama

Considering Kentucky’s recent Jekyll & Hyde mentality, tomorrow’s game against Alabama in Tuscaloosa is suddenly huge. Outside of the Duke game, the Cats have been awful on the road this season, something Vegas seems to have picked up on. The line is out for the game and Kentucky opened as a 4-point favorite. It’s already been bet up to 4.5, but honestly, four points seems pretty fair to me.

I’ll be in Tuscaloosa tomorrow, and honestly, I’m not sure what to expect, not only from the Cats, but from the crowd itself. School isn’t back in session yet at Alabama and Avery Johnson and the Crimson Tide are so worried about low attendance at the game they’re offering free student admission and opening the dorms early to encourage kids to come back early. Combine that with Monday’s national title game and most Alabama fans probably won’t even know the Cats are in town.

Still, the ones that do will be loud, and Kentucky better bring it. The last thing this group needs is to start conference play with an 0-2 record on the road.

A loss would make them 0-2 on the road and 1-2 overall. They beat Ole Miss in their first conference game.

I wish I could change my mistypes on here. Seems like every time I come up with an all-time classic funny, I make a typo right in the middle of it that I don’t catch until after I post. Totally destroys the whole effect.

Not sure about the size of the pro-BAMA crowd, but we usually have a good showing of BLUE inside Coleman Coliseum when UK rolls into town. I hope to see the Cats compete for 40 minutes tomorrow night.

Sure is easy to hurl rocks at someone who is an internet blogger when you can hide behind your anonymity in mama’s basement. I bet you’re a real looker yourself, “nuts on nuts on nuts”.
