Kentucky opens as a 12-point favorite vs. Tennessee

Vegas has spoken and your University of Kentucky Wildcats opened as a 12-point favorite vs. the Tennessee Volunteers at Rupp Arena tomorrow night. In the hour since the line went up, it’s already moved to 14.

Hell hath no fury like Wildcats scorned. We hope. Please. No, really, we beg you.

This whole team plays soft, girl kind of soft! You don’t see this lack of hustle and effort on other teams around the country! Bam doesn’t play any defense and should be getting 12 to 15 rebounds, Monk should be getting 6 to 8 rebounds, back in the day Dan Issel would get 30 rebounds!

We’ll need to play a lot better than in the 1st Tenn game to beat that spread – certainly not a sure thing…

This will be a very telling game for this point in the season. Would love to see a “mostly” wire to wire win. This is difficult for our team in a physical game especially if the refs are blowing the whistle every trip down the court and we’re not rebounding. My hope is the NCAA tournament games will not be called nearly as tightly and we can get into better rhythm as we did earlier in the year.

I just want to see us beating teams by 20 again. Our offense was so much fun at the beginning of the season.
