Kentucky opens as 7-point favorite against Alabama

USATSI_9669432_154849602_lowres

Time to get your bets in!

Vegas just released the line for the game tomorrow, and the Cats are favored by seven on the road tomorrow against Avery Johnson’s Crimson Tide.

After a string of several rough games for Kentucky, I’d certainly take it at this point.

Fair or no?

I’m calling BS on that spread. We’ll need to play significantly better to win at Bama…

The players could fix the problems quickly if they wanted, people in the conference say UK players show a lack of leadership and seem disinterested plus they have a lack of effort in rebounding! Monk needs to come out shooting and not disappear in the corner for a half!

The truth hurts. The goal of the program under Cal is to win the NBA draft.

I guarantee you see a big difference in 1 thing. EFFORT! You can hear Cals voice about the Offense and he isnt worried one bit about the O. The Defense he is worried, but he knows they have no time to waste anymore. They wont be polished on Defense tom, but they will show more effort and I can guarantee you that 75% of the problems stem from certain players not giving 100% all times. We tale Bama down easy. 15 plus. We put a bounce in our step and kids get behind reboot.

Maximum, I hope you are right, but I doubt it. They got beat down at Florida, and should have had a 40 point win Tuesday as a response. Didn’t happen. Really questioning the heart of this team. Our half court offense isn’t good enough to win given how terrible our guards defend.

If the game were 2 months ago, it would have been Kentucky by 18.

True, but teams now send players back on D after they shoot killing our fast break. Plus, most of the time, teams look like they are running a lay up drill on our guards. I would love to see a stat chart about how many lay ups we have given up the last five games. 25 per game would not surprise me.

Im hoping the cats can prove us all wrong (except big board he thinks were #1 now) and go to bama and kick some ace, but I just dont see it. Prove me wrong please!!

Let’s just say this team plays like it has the last several games, no better, no worse. Could they beat any SEC team on the road if that were the case? Hopefully we don’t have to find out.
