Kentucky moves up in AP Poll; Louisville new No. 1

After a crazy week in college basketball, Kentucky moved up one spot in the AP Poll. The Cats are now the No. 8 team in the country, behind Ohio State and North Carolina and ahead of Gonzaga.

Following the stunning loss to Stephen F. Austin, Duke dropped from No. 1 to No. 10, making — you guessed it — Louisville the new top-ranked team in the country. The Cards received 48 of the 65 first-place votes. Kansas moved up to No. 2, Maryland up to No. 3, and after beating Iowa State, North Carolina, and Gonzaga in the Battle 4 Atlantis, previously-unranked Michigan is now No. 4. Virginia rounds out the top five.

Yeah, last week I watched Michigan beat North Carolina and Gonzaga. I thought…hmmm, maybe they ought to put them in the top 25.
I’m picking North Car to win the ACC; don’t think UL and Dook can hang with them.

So, cheat, get caught, get punished and put on probation. Then pay players, get caught, and be named the new #1 in college basketball?

I don’t care about the NCAA, if I was a coach or writer voting in this poll I couldn’t put a group of caught (punishment NOT paid) cheaters in my top 25.

At this point, we should all just cheat because there is zero reason not too.

Cheating is the mantra of this nation now. I mean look at the president who cheated to get into office, and he continues to lie and cheat daily with a large portion of this nation being okay with it. Apparently, NCAA rules and the Constitution can be bent to suit one’s needs so long as cash is king, and the ends justify the means.

Delray is one of those commenters who almost always had to turn sports discussions into political ones. Did the president cheat with your mom or something, you sure seem to be obsessed with him.

Dude, Trump is a lot of things, and yes he lies and I don’t defend that, but with all the investigations they have found bupkis. There was no collusion except on Hillary’s part. Move on and concentrate on 2020 because he is not going to be bounced from office.

And yet the Democrats ran Hillary who is the most corrupt US politician since Albert Hall.

I love how Democrats complain about Republicans AFTER worshiping and elevating some of the greatest scum to ever walk across American History.

When will you people wake up and realize it makes no difference which party is in office? When all is said and done the agenda is all the same. One is not better than the other, they’re all psychopaths.

Politicians have lied and cheated on both sides since the creation of elections, that’s what they do. Nothing new here.

While we’re on the topic of cheaters, I watched the Kasass vs Dayton game and both teams looked pretty good. Not saying Dayton cheated, just Kansass.

They’re still not a legit Top10 team, but it’s better to be over-ranked than unranked.

They may be #1 in the nation but still #2 in Kentucky.
