Love that the cats are number 1… However, somebody explain to me how in the world Duke is still ranked number 6 in this poll and number 3 in the other after we smacked them around pretty good and a very sub-par Georgetown team took them to the wire yesterday? I know these rankings essentially don’t mean squat right now, but that just seems a bit ridiculous. They lose a game and somehow manage to move up one spot in the coaches poll. C’monnnnnn maaaannnnnn

its when politics get confused with sports. in the end, “rankings essentially ” dont mean squat, however, i see it as a slap on OUR face with the puke stuff. its like the voters saying ” oh it was JUST Ky that beat em (by 11) . look at who voted for who & follow the personalities (or politics) .

I know I should be happy the Cats are #1 but I’m pissed about both polls in general. Of course only Duke can lose a game and move up in the rankings. Such a f-ing joke. They went from 4th to 3rd in the coaches poll. And they only dropped one spot in the AP. They barely beat a mediocre Georgetown team yesterday. Bullsh!t I tell you. It’s stuff like this that should be brought to the attention of everyone fans, media, and random followers during March Madness. The bias towards Puke has been around too long and Duke has profited from it ten fold. The less Duke falls after each lose the easier it is for them to stay a top seed. I’m folking sick of it.

Duke’s rating is why Skal is scowling.

I thought it was because that bully from the 3rd grade took his lunch money and gave him an atomic wedgie, and Skal was too weak to stop him.

Just kidding, but he does need to toughen up.

The media-lovefest for Duke continues, unabated. This, Mr. Miller, is why we hate Duke.

Never ceases to amaze… Duke and Kansas lose and drop very little if any… other teams take a huge drop…

Meanwhile UNC took a paper class to keep their ranking up in the top 10.

looking back at the previous week… maryland had 14 first place votes. they won two games and we won two games. we were kind of weak in the middle, but we still took 8 of their first place votes away. that’s how good our backcourt is.

      3:42 pm November 23, 2015 Permalink

We are not weak in middle. As a matter of fact the rotation of Skal, Humphries, Lee and Poythress will be among the best in the country before the year is done. You’ll see…. were only in November, LONG way to go.

Duke loses and drops 1 measly spot in AP and actually jumps up 1 in Coach’s. The bias has no bounds.

Only 2 other teams from the SEC in the top 25? What happened to LSU with the best recruit in the world?

Oops my bad didn’t see the Tigers there at 22 so I guess 4 out of 25 is a step up for the SEC.
