Kentucky is an 11-point favorite against Vanderbilt

After Kentucky won the first meeting in Nashville earlier this season, Las Vegas expects Kentucky will win yet again when Vanderbilt travels to Lexington. Vegas has the Cats laying 11 points to the Commodores in the rematch Tuesday night.

Vanderbilt will enter the game with three covers in its last three games (two of which were outright wins), while Kentucky has a streak of two covers in its last two games.

The Wildcats won the two teams’ first meeting, 74-67, back on January 13.

Bet responsibly.

This can go one of two ways, and with a team this young, it’s hard to tell: Either the Cats will look at the emotion energy they played with in that second half at WVU and carry that over moving forward, or they could fall victim to an emotional let down.

I tend to lean more toward the camp that they’ve turned a major corner and will carry that over, especially being back at home. I really feel like, as far as the maturation of this group goes, being able to go into that environment and overcome a huge amount of adversity will pay major dividends going forward.

I agree it could go either of those ways but I’ll still say I’m glad we are playing at home because even experienced teams can fall victim to a let down game after big emotional games. Vanderbilt isn’t as bad as this spread says, especially coming off a big win over TCU. Still think we come away with the W and continue to build momentum heading down the stretch. That game at Auburn is one I hope the team is licking their chops at. Another big road win like that should shoot us right up the seeding lines.
