Kentucky is a No. 4 seed in new Bracketology

Joe Lunardi updated his Bracketology today because Joe Lunardi can’t stop, won’t stop making brackets. In this new update, he has Kentucky as a No. 4 seed in the West region playing out in Denver next March.

South Dakota State is the opening around opponent followed by a potential rematch with Houston before Gonzaga and… Wisconsin.

Villanova, Virginia and Baylor are Lunardi’s other No. 1 seeds in his way-too-early stab at it.

With Sarr we should be at worse a 2 seed.

What are you going by. We have no idea how good any of the FR will be and only returning player did very little last year. All the FR could be Zion or AD dominant and we could be undefeated. Also all could be average or well below expectations, like most FR are, and we are a very average team like we have been the past few years. Weak SEC is our season saver if we get the latter.

Well…..admittedly I’m taking a flier on Clarke and Boston. Both need to be well above average to justify a 2 seed, but with Sarr and Brooks plus the talents of our incoming players it’s feasible. But I understand your glass half-empty pessimism about all thing Kentucky. Your past commentary precedes you ! I prefer to wax optimistically.
