Kentucky is a huge favorite against North Dakota

Kentucky failed to cover in its first two games of the season, but Las Vegas still set a huge line for the Cats’ Wednesday night contest against North Dakota.

The line opened at 26.5 points late Tuesday afternoon, according to VegasInsider.com. It’s a pretty high number for a team that has underperformed so far, against a North Dakota team that is undefeated against the spread this season.

I will be staying away from this one. You can do as you please, so long as you do it responsibly.

Just so everyone knows, SD State is ranked like #234 by Pomeroy. As matter of fact, the next 4 teams are ranked #200 or lower. If the Cats can’t win these games by more than 20, then it’s probably time to hit the panic button. Yes I know some already have, but this four game stretch should build team confidence. Should being the key word.

The team that puts a round ball in a round hole the most wins. That ain’t us again this year

Not busting your chops, just wanted to clear it up in case people were confused by your comment. You had the right stat, just had the team wrong…SD State is actually a pretty decent team and ranked 79th in the KenPom, BUT North Dakota (who we are playing) is ranked 234. That being said, I agree, we SHOULDN’T HAVE an issue with these next few opponents which hopefully builds some much needed confidence.

Matt Jones went from buying tickets to Yum Center for tournament to making excuses about struggling vs so. Illinois. Hilarious. So. Illinois kept buffalo close….
