1.9 — Former UK recruit Scottie Lewis leads the SEC in steals with 1.9 per game. The lengthy wing is also blocking 1.2 shots per contest.

4 — Times in the history of the Kentucky-Florida series have the teams split with the visiting team winning each game. A Gators’ win would mark only the fifth time this phenomenon has occurred.

5 — Straight Kentucky wins over Florida. The Gators’ last win was in Gainesville in 2018 against Kevin Knox and Co.

6.2 — Blocks per game by Kentucky rank second nationally. Florida also swats away 6.2 shots per game, but they have 20 less on the season thanks to multiple postponed games.

9 — More points per game Florida’s Tre Mann is scoring in his sophomore season, up to 14.3 points ppg. after averaging just over 5 as a freshman.

15.5 — Assists per game by Kentucky over the last four games. The Wildcats assisted on 18 of their 29 (62.1%) made field goals in the last meeting with the Gators.

 

23 — Kentucky’s adjusted defensive efficiency ranking, just three spots ahead of Florida in the KenPom metric.

25 — Points Kentucky scored off 16 Florida turnovers when the two teams met in Gainesville.

40 — Three-pointers made by UK over the last four games, the second-most in a four-game span by a John Calipari team.

48 — Percent chance Kentucky will defeat Florida, according to KenPom, who predicts who a 69-68 Gators’ win. ESPN’s BPI likes Florida even more, giving UK just a 45.9% chance to win.
