Your University of Kentucky Wildcats dropped five spots in the Associated Press poll following a disappointing loss to Alabama over the weekend. With a 10-3 overall record, Kentucky is now the No. 18 team in the country, according to the AP.

Duke, Michigan, Tennessee and Virginia stayed put atop the Top 25, in that order. North Carolina moved up three spots to No. 12, which is good for the Cats’ resume.

Kansas got walloped by a 20th ranked team and only dropped 2 spots.

I knew before I saw it with my own eyes that Kansas would only drop a spot or two.

I want somebody to prove me wrong.

If you look at the blue blood programs of Kentucky, Kansas, Duke, or Michigan State…NOTE: it still pertains to them but they are no longer blue blood having cheated to get where they are (North Carolina at Chapel Hill), we are the only one of these schools that falls more than just a couple places in the next week’s poll following a loss. Frankly, I can’t believe that UK only fell 5 positions.

The pollsters can hardly wait to drop UK like a rock with they lose, and, are slow to move them an inch when win. I do not believe that is conspiracy theory or bias. I think those are the historical facts that help the committee seed them 8th when they are 4…a 4 when they are 1…you get it. The others mentioned go in no worse than a 3 regardless if they win or not.

I look forward to be proven wrong.

Maybe Georgia State should be ranked 15th, they beat Bama at Bama and we did not. Maybe Northeastern should be 18th, they beat Bama on a neutral court. You all do know these polls mean nothing right. Goodness why do people worry about who is where in this meaningless ystem.

I think this is more than fair. 3 SEC schools are ranked ahead of us so we have something to shoot at.

If we had lost by double digits we would’nt be in the top 30, bright side is that Buffalo is still behind us.

They should not even be in the top 25 there not even a top 50 team and to prove my point if we played the top 50 teams right now we would finish below 500 but ole cal have them ready for the June draft remember it’s players first

Buffalo is behind us for the moment but UK will be out of sight and out of mind in reference to the top 25 within the next 2 weeks. Double digit losses coming this year.

Losing to Seton Hall, Bama = bad for the Cats’ resume

Our resume shuold not depend on other teams success but our own wins but I guess cal will consider unc rise in the poll and our bama loss a success
