Kentucky drops in NET Rankings after loss to South Carolina

Not surprisingly, Kentucky took a pretty big drop in the NET Rankings following last night’s 81-78 loss at South Carolina. The Cats fell from No. 26 to No. 35, putting them fourth in the SEC behind No. 13 Auburn (down from No. 5 after last night’s 19-point loss at Alabama), No. 24 Arkansas, and No. 26 LSU. The Gamecocks rose from No. 121 to No. 109.

A look at UK’s upcoming opponents and where they stand in the new NET rankings:

  • Arkansas (Away: Jan. 18) – #24
  • Georgia (Home: Jan. 21) – #55
  • Texas Tech (Away: Jan. 25) – #33
  • Vanderbilt (Home: Jan. 29; Away: Feb. 11) – #134
  • Auburn (Away: Feb. 1; Home: Feb. 29) – #13
  • Mississippi State (Home: Feb. 4) – #70
  • Tennessee (Away: Feb. 8; Home: March 3) – #72
  • Ole Miss (Home: Feb. 15) – #110
  • LSU (Away: Feb. 18) – #26
  • Florida (Home: Feb. 22; Away: March 7) – #48
  • Texas A&M (Away: Feb. 25) – #121

Beat Arkansas.
