I dont like being the favorite. The bulls eye will be bigger than ever. However, this team might just have what it takes to do it. I really believe that the Bahamas trip and our very tough schedule could put us over the hump

Da ville is slightly higher odds: 75 – 1. It was a lot higher before Akoy Agau signed on, bringing his 5 points, 4 rebounds a game. They’re a formidable bunch now.

Hold your bets until next March. The odds can only get batter at this point. The last year that UK won it (2012), UK started out at 4/1 before any games were even played. Yet, even after going 25-1 the first few months, they were still going off at 4/1 in early February 2012. In other words, wait until UK loses one or the field is set for the tourney.

I bet a lot of people will take a bet on UK going 40-0. It’s interesting that every summer and fall people drink the Kool-aid that we will go 40-0, go to final four, and all our players are lottery picks. Saban calls it rat poison. Then the fans are disappointed and angry in mid January when we struggle and are exasperated when we finally play out and no final four. Why don’t we just chill and see what happens as the season progresses? But, most fans can’t. We dream all summer of a final four or even a NC. Then get a dose of disappointment.
