Kentucky Beats Duke when De’Aaron Fox Plays NBA 2K

Every time a roommate received NBA 2K for Christmas, it was only a matter of days before we assembled an All-UK team to destroy the rest of the NBA in dynasty mode.  Before returning to campus, De’Aaron Fox decided to do the same thing, but he took it one step further.

The Kentucky point guard assembled an All-UK team to face an All-Duke team to prove who’s best.  After looking at the rosters, it ain’t hard to tell.

Duke

  • Jahlil Okafor
  • Jabari Parker
  • Luol Deng
  • J.J. Reddick
  • Justice Winslow
  • Gerald Henderson
  • Rodney Hood
  • Mason Plumlee
  • Austin Rivers
  • Kyle Singler
  • Tyus Jones
  • Gorgui Dieng (Louisville, Duke, what’s the difference?)

Kentucky

  • DeMarcus Cousins
  • Anthony Davis
  • Brandon Knight
  • Michael Kidd-Gilchrist
  • Eric Bledsoe
  • John Wall
  • Devin Booker
  • Julius Randle
  • Karl-Anthony Towns
  • Nerlens Noel
  • Enes Kanter
  • Terrence Jones

How much better was the Kentucky team?  A LOT better.

Needless to say, the game was over before it started, even though it was played at Cameron Indoor.  Here’s the score after a quarter:

Fox put a beatdown on Duke, winning 125-76, a score we will hopefully see if the two teams meet in the NCAA Tournament.  Just for fun, here’s the box score:

This should immediately be used as a recruiting tool. Duke has really picked up steam on the one and done trail, mainly because of the 2015 Final Four, which is still haunting us. But this shows how far behind they still are from Kentucky. Coach Cal is still putting better quality, and definitely better prepared players into the league that is every kids dream! GO CATS!

I don’t disagree with the results but he left Kyrie Irving off of the Duke team.

Reggie Jackson going for 22 points and 18 assists tells you everything you need to know about 2k.

Sorry but can someone please tell me how he did this? Every year I put the UK guys on the same team to but idk how to put Kentucky across the chest and even have the UK logo showing. Unless of course he just is playing the old NCAA bball game?

U can do this on 2K16 if u are connected to the Internet. I have XBox so I have XBox live and there are tons of different teams logos uniforms and rosters you can download. Just have to spend the time looking for them n checking out which are good and which look crappy. Also you can really tell that De’Aaron is a point guard look at the box score the kid got EVERYONE involved didn’t he. I wonder if Anthony Davis took the 5th most shots on the team. Lol

That definitely looks like Kyrie Irving in the picture that shows the 35-18 score.#2 has the same cut and beard as Kyrie and it just looks like him.
