KenPom predicts Kentucky will beat Kansas by seven

calipari-self

Looking ahead to Saturday’s marquee matchup in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge, one game predictor projects a seven-point win over the Kansas Jayhawks for your University of Kentucky Wildcats.

It’s KenPom’s magical GamePredict machine that predicts a 90-83 victory for the Cats. KenPom gives Kansas a 25 percent chance of pulling off the upset and projects the line on the game will be Kentucky -7.5 when it is released later this week, likely Friday afternoon.

Unfortunately KenPom’s math does not consider slumping and playing completely out of sync, which is what worries me heading into this game.

But I do like his optimism.
