Hard to believe that ole Roy is coming in on this list at 27th… That doesn’t seem like it is right. Not calling you out, Drew… That just is extremely surprising. I thought UNC would pay their guy at least top 10 money… interesting.

Our lowest paid coach gets more than 18 coaches on that list.

    Just sayin’…

Damn, Coach O’s agent deserves a hand too seeing as his $900k salary as a first year head coach looks much better after seeing this list.

I’m disappointed no shot was taken at former Pitino assistants bottom dwelling on this list at less money than current UK assistants.

Why does he get paid so much more than Robic? I was under the impression that Robic had most of the responsibility and was a workaholic.

Mainly recruiting, but he also develops the 4s and 5s. Other than Robic’s hair, I think he is considered more expendable than Payne. Nothing against Robic. Cal obviously values him or they wouldn’t have been together as long as they have. Plus Robic has made it pretty clear he doesn’t want another head coaching job so he’s kinda made giving him a raise less necessary—he has little bargaining power.

Tom Crean is absolutely ROBBING IU at over $3 million a year. How on Earth he’s the 9th highest paid coach in the country is astounding. I’m not even sure he’s the 9th best coach in the Big 10!! Hope IU keeps him forever!

Maybe you should compare his salary and record to that of Stoops!!!

cats troll, Crean has been coaching for a lot longer than Stoops and has accomplished nothing. Stoops is just getting started, bro.

Cats Paw. Stoops is the lowest paid coach in the SEC and 50th in the country. Not even close to how inflated Crean’s worth is at 3rd in B1G and 9th in the country. Good try though, I appreciate you trying to play along. Best thing about Crean is his buyout is so astronomical, and he’s not quite a Billy Clyde disaster that IU’s hands are tied as far as buying him out. #Creanforlife #LifetimeContract
